Chapter X: Better Than Revenge

I woke up wearing a smile on my lips. I quickly ate my breakfast and prep up myself for school. I went inside my car and off I went to the academy. When I arrived, I headed to my locker first to get something. After the locker room, I proceeded to where Carl’s classroom is located. I peeked inside and saw no one. I quietly opened the door and headed to the chair where Carl always sit. It’s just 6:00 in the morning and students rarely go to the academy at his time. 7:00 AM is the earliest the students could ever recorded. I pulled out the thing that I bought yesterday in the cafeteria and put all of it in his chair and walked out their room with a smile. "Good morning, Pres." a female student greeted so I returned the greeting "Good morning." I was in a very good mood today to greet everybody I see on the hallway I headed straight to the student council office and rested myself on my chair. Let’s see how his stupidity works. I can smell victory in front of me. I couldn’t help but smile while reviewing all the papers in front of me. Say hello to the real war, Mr. Troublemaker. Later, I’ll have a very good news to hear. Thank goodness. "Piper? The chief of the executive committee wanted to talk to you about something." the student council secretary whose name is Rye informed me "Yeah, thanks for informing me Rye. Watch the office for me, okay?" "Yes, Pres." he said and I went out the office to meet up with the chief of the executive committee We talked about the upcoming events that they wanted to hold and hours passed before I was able to join Samina for lunch. "The teacher gave a brief explanation about what will happen on the upcoming Christmas celebration in the academy. He wanted to talk to you about the booth our class is going to make." "Yeah, I saw the proposals. It was neat and well organized. I’ll just confirm to our teacher that our booth will be in an area where people will clearly see it." "Nice! Are you going with me during the whole event or you’ll be staying with the student council?" "Rye and the others will need me. Sorry, Samina." I said and she nodded "I understand, Piper. Anyways, I just wanted to talk to you about this hot guy I have been crushing for days now." Samina kept on blabbering about her new forever but I was just silently eating my food while waiting for an angry Carl Marvin Chua to appear. After a while, Carl didn’t disappoint me. He really did show up in the cafeteria with bubble gums stuck on his pants and blouse. His two nostrils were like blowing fires. He’s one angry Troublemaker. I smiled to myself. I wiped my mouth with the table napkin and stand up my seat. I saw how Mr. Troublemaker turned his gaze at me. I can see how his anger doubled up. I looked at him and smirked. I pulled my blue handkerchief and waved it at him. Get ready for a Blue Pin. Confidence was oozing in me when I went out the cafeteria. Carl grabbed my arms and I raised my brows at him before pulling away. Was he that mad? "He was so angry based on the rage in his eyes. Did you see that Piper? That was so funny." Samina stated while stifling a laugh "He deserves that." "By the way, he was stupid for showing up in the cafeteria without tidying himself. That was just soooo embarrassing. Like ever." Samina really find the situation fun and was laughing all the way We were on the hallway heading to our classrooms when Rye appeared. He smiled at me and waved his hands. "Pres., I was looking everywhere for you. Glad that I saw you here." he started "Why are you looking for me, Rye? And I’m just in the cafeteria during this time of the day." "Oh, I haven’t thought of that." he shyly smiled and brushed his hair backwards "It’s fine. What do you need me for?" "Right, Mrs. Roseanne wanted to get a hold of the list of booths. She wanted to examine which are acceptable or not. Do you have them with you?" "No, the papers are in the student council office Rye. I left them in the drawers on the left side of the room. They are inside of it." "Okay. Sorry to bother. Bye Pres." he waved goodbye and smiled before running away Rye was a shy and clumsy little boy before but he grew up so much. Now he is part of the student council. I’m proud of that boy. "Geez. Piper, I’m in love." Samina squealed beside me and pinched my arms that caused my skin to turn red. "Hey, that hurts! And I thought you just found your forever crush last time?" "Oh, I’m taking that back Piper. Just pretend that you didn’t hear me say that." I just shook my head towards Samina. She changes her crush like how she changes clothes.
