Chapter XVI: Post Christmas Gift

The Christmas spirit was far from disappearing in this school. The student council members suggested prolonging the celebration to rise up funds that we can use for school related activities that needed money. I agreed for the proposal because who am I to ruin their Christmas spirits? They were engrossed on the topic that they all voted yes for the prolonging of celebration. It was a majority, so they won. While they were having fun out there, I was stuck with all the paper works that needed to be done by the end of the month. The executive committee was there to help me but as a very considerate president, I accepted all the responsibilities. It was fine for me because I had an amazing Christmas with my cousins. You can’t blame me for sure because of what happened last Christmas day. Flashback It was the day we have all been waiting for. Christmas day. December 25 and it’s the opening of our gifts now. I went inside my room and put all my gifts on my bed. I sat on my bed next to my gifts and started with Mom’s. Mom’s gift for me this Christmas was a new car that she had bought for me. She said that she was dead worried about me that I had to live alone on a condo unit far away from Priam. One of my cousins, Phoenix, gave me one whole set of Harry Potter books that I told him to buy for me. Cousin Ezekiel on the other hand, gave me jewelries that I surely won’t use anytime soon. Cousin Prince bought me air pods because he said that I always lose them. Earl gave me a coupon, a shop all you can coupon and my cousin Evans gave me a white Pomeranian which I named as ’Eve’. Drake bought me some shoes while Pierce and Pierre gave me a two way round ticket to Africa. Couz’ Peter gave me a makeup and even told me to doll up sometimes. He said he bought me makeup because he was afraid that I’d be a lesbian. Lastly, Gramps and Grammy finally gave me the resort I wanted to have ever since I was born. End of Flashback Now I’m inside my room and I just noticed that Mr. Troublemaker also didn’t show up today. Maybe he got tired of pulling a prank on me. Such a weakling. After the checking of attendance, I found my way to the student council office to prepare the documents to be passed to the higher ups. I walked inside and saw a guy wearing eyeglasses. "What are you doing here, Mr. Aguirre?" I asked Franco was sitting on my swivel chair while holding some papers. He removed his glasses and laughed a bit. "Sorry, I just needed to do this." he said and I gave him a puzzled look He stood up from his seat and went to the door. I was about to turn to him when I felt something sticky thrown at me. I froze and touched my back. It’s glue! I panicked but before that I felt something thrown again to me. I touched it and guess what?! It was cut out papers! I was in full rage when I heard a voice said. "Merry Christmas!" He really is going to pay for this.
