A 16 year old girl named Ami finds herself in a predicament when her family is kidnapped by Alister, leader of the slayers. She’s taken in by the king of vampires and now the apprentice of the serious prince. As she tries to find a way to save her family she must face a past she tries to hide and learn more about what she is while confronting the trouble that brews from living among the creatures of darkness.
