Dongha spent the majority of high school hiding his sexuality. When he finally finds love and companionship in classmate Sungwu, his fear of being found out crushes his first love before it ever has a chance to blossom. He does nothing to stand up for Sungwu when it matters most, and Sungwu is never heard from again. Years later, Dongha receives a book written by Sungwu featuring the two of them as main characters. Fearing that someone might see the book, Dongha ends up in an accident. When he wakes, he finds himself in occupied Korea with the novel version of Sungwu. Away from the world as they know it, will they be able to find each other this time around?
